Greetings! The Mighty Mighty Boston Celtics are looking for a fun way to hype the new record a bit by causing a little bit of friendly raucous. The Celtics have been looking for the perfect logo to symbolize the team and they have found it! The only catch is they want to transcribe it through you hands! If you are feeling up to the challenge draw them a logo consisting an upside down tree that looks like a pro palming a basketball. Pretty easy, right? Every entry will receive a digital copy of the Mont Pleasant EP that features FIVE non album cuts of new songs. The top five entries will receive digital copies of both the EP and the full length! The grand prize winner will recieve both digital copies, a physical copy, and a FIVE DOLLAR gift certificate to McDonalds. WHEW! So what is taking you? Run! Get to MS PAINT! RUN! GO NOW!

Audio Inspiration: Download the Story of the Boston Celtics. Any and all submission to The Boston Celtics Logo Contest (hereafter refered to as "the contest") shall adhere to the logo guidelines outlined in Verse I section ii of "The Story of the Boston Celtics" which reads as follows: "...there is a bear on bass and his claws scratch our new logo into the wall, an upside down tree that looks like a painting of a pro palming a basketball, a ball. a ball? yeah were having a fucking ball." Any submissions not adhering to these guidelines will be promptly destroyed.

Submission Info: All entries must be received by October 1st. Mont Pleasant EP will be awarded immediately upon entry. Official judging will take place by October 3rd. Contestants may submit pictures on our Myspace comments at myspace.com/wearethethey or email them in at wearethethey@gmail.com please have the subject line of them email read something like "Celtics logo" or "Boston Celtics rule". Top five and grand prize winners must provide an email or screen name so I can send the goods. Grand prize will also need a mailing address... obviously.
